Police have arrested a driver suspected of hitting and seriously injuring a 19-year-old on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway on Wednesday.

The accident occurred in the morning hours, as seen in the video, when the victim stepped out onto the road for a moment. One sees the vehicle strike him and continue driving.

Police located the vehicle at the HaZahav Shopping Center in Rishon L’Tzion. The suspect, a 50-year-ole male, was arrested and questioned by police. One can see the vehicle, and the damage is presumably from striking the victim.
