A 19-year-old male was the victim of a hit and run on Highway 1, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway, on Wednesday morning, July 17, 2019. As seen in the accompanying video, the victim moved out onto the road for a few seconds and he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver continued and is being sought after by police.

The victim was transported to the trauma unit of Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition upon his arrival.
