HaRav Shmuel Menachem Mendel Schneerson was NIftar on SHabbos. He was among the elders of the Chabad community in Yerushalayim, 91, and a member of the directorate of Collel Chabad and a relative of the Rebbe ZT”L. He was niftar after suffering a major stroke.

The niftar authored a number of seforim in his lifetime. The levaya took place on motzei Shabbos at 11:30PM from Shamgar to Har HaZeisim for kvura.
