Minister of Economic Affairs (Bayit Yehudi) Naftali Bennett remains confident that many chareidim will be joining the workforce. He made his remarks as he inaugurated a new training program from English-speaking chareidi women.
The 20 women enrolled in this course all speak English on a mother tongue level. The eight month training program will be held in the Jerusalem Technical Training Center and the women will be entering the job market with a respectable salary upon completion of the program.
The women will learn to medical coding insurance companies. Training will include exploration of the medical field, understanding of medical terminology and concepts, an understanding of diseases and illnesses pertinent to the job, and a total command of English. They are promised attractive salaries.
Bennett stated “this is not charity but work” and he is optimistic he is on the road of bringing many chareidim into the workplace, a move which he adds “will bring pride to the nation” as his office works to increase the number of suitable jobs for chareidim.
“In the coming years, many members of the chareidi tzibur, men and women will join the workplace. As a nation, we must commit to providing a suitable workplace and conditions for this sector, to create the proper atmosphere so we can work shoulder to shoulder with our chareidi brethren.”

As long as you Bennett will enforce the anti Torah draft, chareidi men will not join the workforce. In the meantime, as you see yourself, only women are enrolling.
Wow!
Does he plan to advocate repeal of the law that makes it illegal for hareidim to work “on the books” unless they have served in the army?
Is there a plan for an America-style equal opportunity laws (including bans on harassment and creation of a hostile work environment)? So far, whenever someone suggests reasonable accomodation in Israel, the hilonim start screaming “religious coercion”.
Has he noticed that American hareidim often have careers other than working for hareidim institutions or selling things exclusively to other hareidim?
Or is this just pretext for a new wave of decrees and oppression.
Mi Keamcha Yisroel there are still observant Jews who want to have nothing to do with the Zionist and the state of Israel that hates the Jewish religion.
The Briskar Rav zt”l said: the Zionists goal is to uproot the Torah making Jews secular and in order to achieve their goal they must have their own state.
R’ Elchonon Wasserman HY”D writes: that his Rebbe the Chofetz Chaim who made a Sefer on Loshan Hora said: the Zionist are from the offspring of Amalek.
For all who didn’t see it till now OPEN YOUR EYES this is great on time in the three weeks awaiting for Moshiach to arrive any day, so we can still live and speak the truth.
Employment raises levels of self esteem and bolsters ‘Shalom Bayis’.
who is he fooling. english speaking chareidi ladies?! What a joke. The majority of Americans are not chareidi in the classic sense, so this is no great victory or sign of progress.
Chessed: you wrote “R’ Elchonon Wasserman HY”D writes: that his Rebbe the Chofetz Chaim who made a Sefer on Loshan Hora said: the Zionist are from the offspring of Amalek.”
R’ Elchonon wrote that about the Yevsektzia in the Soviet Union – they were not Zionists; in fact, they were (like all Communists) extremely anti-Zionist.
