A lone attacker who entered the sentry inspection area of the Shomron military court on Tuesday morning began throwing firebombs. He was shot and wounded by border police who directed the gunfire at his lower extremities.

The attack resulted in the temporary closure of the courthouse, which has been a frequent target for Palestinian terror. B’chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries resulting from the firebombs.

The attacker is said to be a PA (Palestinian Authority) resident in his 50s, and he was transported to Afula’s HaEmek Hospital.

There have been numerous bomb attacks that were foiled at the entrance to the Shomron court by border police.
