The bakery informs consumers that a sampling conducted by the Food Service of the Tel Aviv District found suspicion of the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in cream cake with the addition of Dulce de leche, product code 200044.
A total of 114 units were created. To date, 110 units have been collected. Only 4 units sold at the chain’s stores have not yet been collected.
The bakery informs consumers not to eat the product. The product is marked with “may be sold until July 23, 2019 and July 15, 2019.
Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause disease in a high-risk population, such as a weakened immune system, the elderly, or cause miscarriage in pregnant women. The Sova Smachot bakery said it apologizes to its customers.
