Investigators Complete Probe Into Policeman’s Brutal Beating Of Autistic Man Yanki Rosenberg

The Justice Ministry Police Investigation Unit (PIU) looking into the border police beating of autistic Chareidi man Yanki Rosenberg has come to its end. The decision and recommendations in the case are expected to be announced soon.

Yanki Rosenberg, the 23-year-old chareidi autistic man was brutally beaten by border policeman on erev Lag B’Omer. He allegedly was involved in trying to start a bonfire in a place that was prohibited by police. A policewoman claims Yanki pushed her, she called for backup, and one of the responding officers pushed him face down to the pavement, began beating him, and ignored the pleas for mercy from persons in the areas and Yanki himself, who they claim is impaired and clearly one can detect this, as he is autistic.

According to the information, the investigation file was transferred to the prosecutor of the Department for the Investigation of Israel Police, which is expected soon to make its decision regarding the policemen who were seen in the photographs. The assessment will not necessarily point to wrongdoing by police in their behavior and in the performance of their duties.

  1. “The assessment will not necessarily point to wrongdoing by police in their behavior and in the performance of their duties.”
OF COURSE NOT! THE CORRUPT POLICE HAVE A INVESTIGATION UNIT.

THERE SHOULD BE A INDEPENDENT AGENCY

  2. This video shows no beating, nothing inappropriate by the police. I am sure there is other information, including testimony from eye witnesses and the arrested man.
