Members of the extremist fringe Neturei Karta protested in Yerushalayim on Thursday against Holocaust Remembrance Day, with participants in the event calling the creation of the State of Israel the “true Holocaust”.
Among the leaders of the march was Moshe Hirsch, the son of Yisrael Meir Hirsch, who was the former South African immigrant to Israel who served as Minister of Jewish Affairs in Yasser Arafat’s government.
The younger Hirsch told reporters that the Holocaust was a decree from G-d, and this we cannot understand, adding it attacked the body of the Jewish People, while the State of Israel is man’s sin, which attacks the soul of the nation.

Wherever you got this from has it all wrong- Moshe Hirsch was an American who learned in Lakewood in R’Aron’s tekufoh and moved to E”Y and headed NK- it is his son who is quoted- Muchlefes Hashitoh!

Moshe Hirsch lived in WIlliamsburg and went to Torah Vodaaas Yeshiva. He was my coun selor in Camp (Mesivta) and the only special thing I remember from that summer was that everytime he got to bat, he hit a huge homerun on the first pitch he swung at. His muscles were awesome.
Visiting, I looke dor him to make sure it was the same man. I found him and he had the same face alright,l but certainly not the same brain. I heard that he married the daughter of the former head of Neturei Karta. She probably put something into his coffee!

2) i beleive that many torah true jews will agree that israel was and is a holocaust . it is a fact that millions of jews gave up orthodoxy directly because of zionism . in addition the state of israel was directly involved in the the physical destruction of jews in the holocaust . jews that were too young or too old or too relgiouse were blocked entry . any plan to leave europe to any other destination other than israel was blocked .

Moshe Hirsch wasn’t “stamm” a Lakewood talmid. There is a somewhat famous picture of Rav Aaron ZT’L with Rav Nosson ZT”L on Purim. In between them is the Purim Rav. Guess who?
