Northern District Border Police Deliver A Baby At An Intersection


A neighborhood border police patrol in the northern district of Israel on Monday was summoned to the Alumot Junction for a woman in labor. The two policemen arrived and found the woman with her husband. After assessing the situation, they realized birth was imminent.

The policemen were assigned to the Emek Yarden area, and in addition to being border policemen, they volunteer with Magen David Adom as EMTs to the good fortune of the woman in labor. The child was born not too long after their arrival on the scene, a boy.

The couple, in their 30s, are residents of the Southern Golan Heights area, and after the birth, police transported them to Poriah Hospital in Tiveria in good condition.
