In what turned out to be an eventful evening for United Hatzalah EMT Yossi Eisenstein, the volunteer treated two people in separate instances and saved the life of one of them.
Just after 8:30 P.M. on Thursday night Eisenstein received an alert that a young boy had electrocuted himself on Tashbets Street. When he arrived, he performed CPR on the boy including attaching a defibrillator which administered two shocks. Following the shocks, the boy woke up and was then transported to Shaare Zedek Hospital in serious condition. Due to the severity and public location of the scene, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit was dispatched, and treated multiple bystanders for emotional distress.
Moments later, Eisenstein found himself responding to none other than the Admor M’Zvhil who was suffering an epileptic seizure. Eisenstein wasted no time and rushed to aid the Rebbe before he too was transported to the hospital for further care.
The Rebbe’s name for Tehillim is שלמה בן איטא מרים סימה.

Just a reminder to prehospital care providers- CPR is a team effort. Unless you are there all by yourself, no one rescuer can take credit for saving a person. This is a beef with the ichud spokesman, not the responder who gave of his time and emotion to help two greatfull families.
Wow. Nice hippa violation! Besides he arrived while he was in post ictal state…… sounds like there was. Nothing for them to do… wouldnt quite call it 2 saves but good luck to him anyways
What’s the boys name for Tehillim?
Hatzalah is the best. Such selflessness & always so nice & reassuring. I have had to call them out a few times & they treated me with the utmost care & sensitivity. May they soon be “out of business”!
