Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon: “Our IDF exhibition in Jerusalem will last at least until the end of the Tishrei Yomim Tovim. So, I agreed with the Prime Minister/Defense Minister, and the Chief of Staff, on a joint visit in which we inaugurated the exhibition”
The exhibition was opened to the public on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at the HaTachana HaRishonah (First Station) site in Jerusalem, at no cost but requiring advanced registration.
Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon: “The establishment of our IDF exhibition in Jerusalem was completed, and I visited the exhibition together with Prime Minister/Defense Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Aviv Kochavi. The connection between the IDF and Jerusalem is of value and significance.
“And therefore, I agreed with the Prime Minister that the exhibition will remain as a permanent exhibition in Jerusalem, at least until the end of the Tishrei Yomim Tovim. Jerusalem residents, students from all over the country, soldiers and their families will arrive. Jerusalem is proud and excited to host the IDF exhibition, which is already a focus of interest to the city’s residents and visitors from Israel and around the world. Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel, is a city of connections between people, religions and cultures, and over time, I invite all the people of Israel to come and enjoy the exhibition that reflects the best capabilities of our army”.
The exhibition includes spectacular audio-visual displays, special and interactive activities for the entire family , military simulators that simulate reality, Iron Dome computer system that simulate the work of the battery by advanced technological means, shows by military bands, tools displays, air and sea displays, exhibits dealing with the human brain, technology and other surprises.
