MK Gideon Saar is quite popular, so much so, that he is the man selected by Likud voters to replace Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu – A recent poll shows the New Right party makes it into Knesset – the URWP increases by a seat and Lieberman to eight seats
According to a latest poll, Likud loses a mandate and falls to 34 seats. That said, it appears the mandate remains in the right-wing bloc, as it goes to Shas, which moves from seven to eight seats. Yahadut Hatorah maintains its eight seats, so the poll shows the chareidim are in a good position, with a total of 16 seats.
The poll also shows that the Yisrael Beitenu party headed by Avigdor Lieberman goes from five seats to eight. The right-wing bloc, without Yisrael Beitenu, stands at 60 seats. The left-wing stands at 52. Hence, Lieberman is once again in power to make or break a new coalition government.
The UNRW party can remain optimistic, as it increases by a seat from five to six, and the New Right, headed by Naftali Bennet, gets into Knesset with four seats.
