Arabs in Shomron, from the village near the community of Yitzhar, are suspected of starting a brush fire near Yishuv Yitzhar on Monday morning. The fire spread quickly due to the hot dry conditions in the area, reaching the Mitzpei Yitzhar neighborhood of the community, which hosts a Chabad yeshiva.

The community’s security officer ordered residents of that neighborhood to evacuate the home as the fire continued spreading.

B’chasdei Hashem there were no reports of injuries and the blaze was brought under control.
