A fire broke out on Monday in a hothouse in a community in the Eshkol Regional Council, one of the communities situated in proximity to the Gaza border.

The fire was caused by incendiary balloons that were launched in Gaza and sent towards southern Israel, resulting in the fire.

The agreement leading to the last ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, reportedly included a Hamas commitment to halt any and all incendiary balloon attack, which has not been the case, yet Israel all but ignores cross-border attacks that occur almost-daily.
