Yisrael Beiteinu party leader MK Avigdor Lieberman changed tactics on Motzei Shabbos and announced that he would try to force a unity government in the next election. He committed his party to attempt to build a government together with the Blue and White party and Likud, the two biggest parties in the previous Knesset.
Lieberman further said that he doesn’t want to be in a government with the Charedi parties or with Itamar Ben Gvir and that if need be he would recommend that Gant and Lapid be given the opportunity to form a coalition if the Blue and White party should win the majority of seats in the Knesset.
In a tweet that he sent Lieberman said: “The party with the most seats should have its head become the Prime Minister without the Charedim and without Itamar Ben Gvir.”
In April, Lieberman had said that a unity government would be a silent government and unable to move things forward. Today’s statement seems to be a 180 turn with regards to his position on a unity government.

If there is one, it will be without him also, hah!
Time for all the right wing parties to get off their high horses and unite or else half the land will be given away AND everyone will get drafted.
Yeah. You want more leftists in charge. Just what we thought
What a moron. There’s no one they’d rather sit with less. If he even passes the threshold, with so many angry at him for forcing elections, the two biggest parties can decide to form a coalition without him. Can’t wait until this sonei torah gets what’s coming to him.
the greatest gift that can come to the hareidi world, is a government free of extortion to keep them enslaved. to the agony of poverty.
Guess what ? If Likud and Blue /White formed a unity government ,the last thing they’d want is an idiot like Lieberman, and they certainly wouldn’t need him and his party!
