Israel Police has solved the stabbing incident that took place on Derech Yavne Street in Rehovot in May 2019.
Police have completed the investigation of a 21-year-old Rehovot resident suspected of stabbing and wounding a 23-year-old man on Derech Yavne Street in Rehovot. The investigation began with a report received by the police on May 25, 1919 from the victim, that he had been stabbed on Derech Yavne Street. The victim was evacuated to Kaplan Hospital for medical treatment.
A police force arrived at the scene and collected evidence. As the investigation progressed, the police arrested three suspects. Two of them were released with restrictions and the detention of the primary suspect has been extended numerous times at arraignment hearings.
The video shows the primary suspect arrived at the scene and approached the victim and attacked him. The investigation also revealed that one of the suspects held the victim behind his back while the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck and caused his injuries. Then the suspects fled the scene.
