A number of Kassam rockets slammed into the Greater Sderot Area on Wednesday morning. No injuries were reported.

There has been a sharp increase in the number of rocket attacks over recent days, as Hamas threatens Israel if Jerusalem decides to reject the Egyptian ceasefire initiative, a heavy price will be paid.

In the meantime, Defense Minister Ehud Barak released a statement on Tuesday that the current situation does not permit accepting a ceasefire as terrorists step up attacks on Israeli civilian population centers.
