EMS personnel were dispatched to Moshav Zechariah for a 6-year-old drowning victim in a private pool in a tzimmer (vacation cabin). The child was transported to a hospital in moderate condition.
The 6-year-old old chareidi boy drowned in a private pool in the moshav. United Hatzalah EMT Meir Pearl was among the first on the scene, explaining the child was treated on the scene and transported by paramedics to the emergency room of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, listed in moderate condition.
In another incident involving EMS and a child, occurring on erev Shabbos as well, a 2-year-old was burned by scalding water in his home in Netanya. He was transported by paramedics to Laniado Hospital in the city.
Moshav Zechariah is located near Beit Shemesh, and if falls under the jurisdiction of the Mate Yehuda Regional Council.

While I’m happy that the victim survived, I feel compelled to point out a grammatical note:
It’s only a drowning if the victim dies. The definition of drowning is to die through submersion in and inhalation of water. Otherwise (as in this case) it’s a near-drowning.
