The Ofer Military Court on Tuesday ordered accused terrorist Zechariah Obeidi held without bail pending the outcome of his trial. He stands accused of carrying out numerous terrorist attacks. Zubeidi was arrested by the ISA (Israel Security Agency/Shin Bet) in February 2019.

The court stated, “The defendant is charged with a serious indictment, which includes 24 of the most serious counts in the statute book ranging from trafficking in military equipment, shooting attack, conspiring to commit a bomb attack, conspiring to murder, contact with an enemy agent, premeditated murder on several occasions and more.

Zubeidi admitted to carrying out two shooting attacks, on November 7, 2018 and at a bus near Beit El on January 5, 2019.
