The central Lag B’Omer Medurah in Bait Vegan was held on Wednesday night near the home of the previous Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, Hagaon HaRav Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron.

The event was organized by the D’vei Eliyahi Yeshiva, headed by HaRav Moshe Edri.

Hundreds of people attended, including the Roshei Yeshiva.

Many people from the United States, followers of Rav Bakshi-Doron, and supporters of the Yeshiva attended as well.

The honor of lighting the fire was given to philanthropist and supporter of the yeshiva, Mr. Joe Katan, one of the leaders of the Jewish community in Geneva.
