According to organizers, 13 presidents, 5 heads of state, 3 ruling prime ministers, 4 foreign ministers, and 8 Nobel Prize laureates will be among the 3,000 guests attending the Jerusalem Convention Center Looking at the Future Conference coinciding with Israel’s 60th Independence Day being hosted by President Shimon Peres. Some 800 guests from around the world are expected to attend.

Security will be extremely high of the 48-hour event, and coffee shops and restaurants will be set up, as well as lounges for VIPs, to eliminate the need for the dignitaries to leave the complex.

The keynote address will be delivered by US President George W. Bush, who is expected to focus on America’s contribution to Israel.
