A 15-month-old girl was brought to the pediatric emergency room of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital on Sunday after she was bitten by a viper snake near Moshav Aderet.
Dr. Saar Hasbia, director of pediatric emergency medicine in Hadassah Ein Kerem said, “Immediately upon her arrival at Hadassah the toddler received anti-venom and supportive treatment. She is in moderate condition, conscious and an altered mental state. After the initial treatment her condition improved, and she is being transferred to a pediatric intensive care unit.”
Aderet is a moshav in central Israel located in the Judean foothills, south of Beit Shemesh, west of Gush Etzion and it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council.
