Four people were tragically killed after a crane collapsed on Sunday morning in Yavne.

MDA says they received reports of the collapse at a construction site on Jabotinsky Boulevard just after 10:00AM on Sunday Morning.

When emergency medical service personnel from MDA and United Hatzalah arrived at the scene, they found three workers who had been killed in the tragic accident. A fourth construction worker was trapped and fire rescue began extrication efforts. Unfortunately, the fourth man was also pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation into the fatal accident was transferred to the Peles division for the investigation of work accidents at Lahav 433, which is part of the National Unit for Combating Economic Crime.

Members of the Peles division responded to the scene of the fatal accident and an investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the incident.
