Don’t the Israeli Haredim say it is ossur to have anything to do with anyone who serves or served in the zionist forces?
Best gift you can give to this poor Yid is to learn a few Mishnayot in his memeory and to uplift his soul. Then give some charity all to the memory of Pinchas Solovechik ben Yaakov and Chana.
I intend to do that bl’n on Wednesday.
What about his REAL yahrzeit? That’s the day for uplifting his soul.
