Following the Rosh Chodesh Tammuz 5773 Women of the Wall event at the Kosel, during which police blocked chareidim from entering the area, Yahadut Hatorah MKs Uri Maklev and Meir Porush filed an urgent query with Minister of Public Security (Yisrael Beitenu) Yitzchak Aharonovich.
The MKs are seeking an acceptable explanation for preventing “thousands of chareidim” from reaching the Kosel, most regular mispallalim who wanted nothing more than to reach the site all to permit a group of women to hold a “provocative once monthly event under heavy police protection.”
They ask if this is the police response to the provocative act by a small group of women, preventing thousands from reaching a holy site.

Daven in shul.
the blocking of charadim to enter the kotel should be extended to blocking the woemen off the wall, too.
The charedim should publicly boycott the kosel:You’ll see how fast they’ll cave in
Same reason why they routinely block younger male Muslims from Friday prayers to prevent violence. And what do you know, it worked.

So the regulars are blocked,
and the decrepit antagonists are VIP’S
#1 How jewish are you ‘a jewish jew’?! Your attitude is a disgrace and a public act of Chillul Hashem! Hundreds of Yidden streaming to the kosel by word of our leading Gedolim and you know better?!
Actually, the WOW have been going to the Kotel on Rosh Chodesh for over 20 years, without incident.
Actually, falsesharer, they have been going there and making incidents all along. They were breaking the traditional minhagim and halachos of the Kosel and the police were arresting them every month.
That is not “without incident”.
Maybe the Israeli police should take a page out of the New York City police manual – random stop-and-frisks for blacks (black hatters, that is). If it works in New York City, perhaps it will also work in Jerusalem.
nfgo: Those jackbooted thugs do that already.
