As an integral part of the service that the police provide to the residents of the area, police work to locate and deal with the hazards that disrupt the lives of the residents and endanger them.
Operation 700, which began at night in Jabil Mukhaber, Um Lisson, Umm Tuba, Sur Baher and Abu Tor, was carefully planned to provide a solution to the problems that arise in the continuous conversation with the local residents and to improve infrastructure, clean the neighborhoods and remove any safety hazards.
Within this framework, the police, along with municipal officials and other enforcement agencies, have been working to remove 20 tons of garbage, scrap, demolition of 13 makeshift buildings without permits, and removing dozens of columns and chains that illegally closed public spaces.
In addition, in focused activity against illegal gas deposits, 300 gas cylinders located near buildings and houses were seized and confiscated as they could endanger the lives of the residents.
In addition, 300 kilograms of meat and fish kept under unfit sanitary conditions were destroyed in joint activity with the municipality veterinarian.
The direct results of the operation are evident in the field and are an integral part of the police’s activity, on the one hand, to expose the serious offenses that directly harm the residents, and on the other hand by tightening the direct connection of law-abiding normative residents with the police to increase the sense of security and trust among the city’s residents and visitors.
