IDF forces during the night, Monday to Tuesday, raided, shut down and confiscated equipment from a weapons manufacturing facilty in the PA (Palestinian Authority) village of Beit Ur al-Tahta, located in the Ramallah/el-Bireh governate.

The discovery of yet another weapons plant is part of the ongoing almost daily operations by the IDF, Israel Police, border police and ISA (Israel Security Agency/Shin Bet) against PA -based terrorism in Yehuda and Shomron.

Also, during the night security forces arrested eight PA residents suspected of taking part in terrorist activities and/or violent confrontations against Israeli security forces. The arrest and interrogation of these suspects often leads to quality intelligence information, including information pertaining to the weapons manufacturing facility reported above.

During the arrests of the eight, an M16 automatic rifle and ammunition were also confiscated.
