Police are investigating a break-in that occurred over Pesach in the “Beis Menachem” dormitory at the Mir Yeshiva in the Beis Yisrael section of Yerushalayim. When the bochrim returned to their rooms, the way they described the site was “a pogrom”.

It did not take long for them to realize the place was ransacked; closets emptied of contents and money and other valuables had been stolen, indicating the break-in occurred during Pesach when many were not in the dorm.

Police were called on Sunday night and began gathering evidence and an investigation is underway. Authorities believe the break-in occurred during the last day of Pesach.

Bochrim report that some lost sums up to NIS 3,000 in the break-in.
