Residents of Kissufim, Nir Am, Nirim and other area communities on Saturday night were ordered by the IDF to remain in their homes as a terror alert was declared in the area.

The event was sparked after soldiers detected and apprehended two armed terrorists who successfully infiltrated from Gaza in the Kissufim area at about 20:00.

The two armed terrorists were wearing flack jackets, prompting the area-wide alert. No injuries were reported among IDF personnel.
