Israel Police and border police arrested 89 PA (Palestinian Authority) illegals near the Metar Crossing on Sunday.
In the early hours of the morning and after the lifting of the closure imposed on Pesach, border policemen were deployed in the Metar Forest area as part of an activity to prevent Palestinians from entering into ‘Israel proper’ without a permit.
The forces identified dozens of Palestinians who crossed the fence and headed towards the Metar Forest, where additional forces apprehended them and led to the arrest of the suspects, thus preventing their illegal entry.
A total of 89 Palestinian suspects from the Southern Hebron Hills were arrested and taken for questioning, which includes checking if they are wanted for security crimes.
