The man struck by a bus while riding on an electric bicycle on Route 444 near Elad on motzei Shabbos, as reported by YWN-Israel, died of his massive injuries in Tel Hashomer Hospital.

The fatal accident occurred at about 10:00PM, when the cyclist was hit by the bus near Elad Junction traveling towards Shoham.

MDA paramedic Eli Znillman explained that when he arrived on the scene, the victim was trapped with his bicycle under the bus. He was extricated and they began life saving resuscitation, including advanced life support, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival in the trauma unit of the hospital.

Police are investigating the fatal accident.
