On Monday afternoon, a woman in Bnei Brak was preparing food for her family for Pesach when her hand got stuck in a blender. The woman, in her 40s, was treated at the scene by volunteers from United Hatzalah and was taken to the hospital with parts of the blender still attached to her hand.
United Hatzalah volunteer Aharon Lerner, who was one of the first responders at the scene said: “Following the extrication of the woman from the machine by the fire department, we provided initial treatment at the scene and then the woman was transported to Tel Hashomer hospital with the blender blades still attached. The doctors at the hospital will attempt to save the woman’s fingers.”
