Despite the unseasonably cold weather, tens of thousands of mispallalim participated in Chol Hamoed Pesach Birchas Kohanim at the Kosel on Monday, the second day of Chol Hamoed Pesach in Eretz Yisrael.

Among the notables in attendance, seen in the accompanying photos, are Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon, Kosel Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz and US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman.

Both Sephardi and Ashkenazi Chief Rabbis were in attendance at the event that began with Shachris at 9:30AM and began Birchas Kohanim at 10:15AM.

The event also had a change this year from previous years. Tefillas Hodaya was said for the plentiful rains that Israel received this year.

The police were out in force making sure that nothing interrupted the ceremony and that the Tefillos were said without any complications.
