The unseasonal Pesach weather, including rainfall accompanied by strong winds, resulted in a palm tree collapsing on a parked vehicle in Jerusalem, at the corner of Ben Tzvi and Shazar Streets on Sunday, the first day of Chol Hamoed Pesach.
Municipal employees arrived on the scene and removed the broken tree. In addition, they checked the other palm trees on the street to determine if they will hold up to the high winds towards deciding if the area needed to be closed off.
The bizarre weather includes hail in Bnei Brak as seen in the accompanying photos and video.
