Chairman of the Blue and White party, Benny Gantz, told journalist Ilana Dayan that he will not sit in a coalition with Binyamin Netanyahu, and he will lead a combative opposition and remain optimistic as, “I am 100% certain that I will be prime minister” he concluded.
Interviewed on the Uvda investigative reporting TV show hosted by Dayan on Channel 12, the former IDF chief highlights how achieving 35 seats is quite significant. He adds, “I am going to serve the Israeli society, all of Am Yisrael, those who voted for me and those who did not”.
He highlights his commitment to be a combative opposition and promises to unveil “the fog surrounding the uniting of the three lists”, and the possibility that Yair Lapid will serve as opposition head. Earlier, party officials stated they would not rotate the opposition leader post but that Gantz was going to hold the post until the next elections.
Regarding his future, Gantz says, “I am 100% certain I will be prime minister” he responded, “One day, certainly, I will be prime minister. 100% certain of this,” he concluded+.
