Retired IDF major-general, Ze’ev Livni, on Thursday told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) that during his tenure as prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu also signaled a willingness to make land concessions on the Golan Heights for a peace deal with Syria.
Livni served as Netanyahu’s military secretary as well as an IDF attaché to Washington.
The proposal by the former prime minister was delivered to the Syrians by Ron Lauder, a close confidant of Netanyahu, Livni reported.
