Thanks to the quick response by the maritime police on the Mediterranean Sea and rescue teams on the ground three yeshiva bochrim who partially drowned on Wednesday were rescued and survived the incident.
United Hatzalah volunteers who arrived at the scene reported that one of the people who partially drowned got themselves out of the water and sustained no lasting injury.
The other two people were rescued by the maritime police who pulled them from the water and brought them back to shore. The two men, (aged 17 and 30) were in light to moderate condition and were treated by United Hatzalah volunteers at the beach before being transported to the hospital.
