On Wednesday, the Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Moshe Leon, met with the US Ambassador to Israel, Mr. David Friedman, at the US Embassy in the capital.

The two discussed the work of the embassy in the city, the assistance required from the Jerusalem municipality, and joint issues of work in dialogue between the embassy and the municipality.

Mayor Leon: “I am very proud that the US Embassy is operating from the capital of Israel. I congratulate the Ambassador on joint and fruitful work. I instructed the city officials to do everything necessary to make the embassy work optimal for the city’s services.

Ambassador Friedman: “I thank the Mayor, Moshe Leon, for personal attention, desire and commitment to the needs of the embassy in Jerusalem.”
