PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) will be meeting on Thursday in the White House with US President George W. Bush.

Abu Mazen will be condemning Israel’s military operations in Gaza, as well as the embargo on goods in Hamas-controlled Gaza. The leader of the Fatah faction is calling on America to pressure Israel into a deal, blaming Israel alone for the abhorrent conditions in Gaza since Israel’s unilateral withdrawal from Gaza in the summer of 2005.
