Seeking to compel Israel to sign a deal with the Palestinian Authority, Jordan’s King Abdullah II is calling on US President George W. Bush to cancel his planned May visit to Israel, to take part in 60th anniversary events, if a deal between Israel and the PA is not achieved.

Meeting with the US leader in Washington, Abdullah stated Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and other moderate Arab nations are calling on the White House to compel Israel towards making concessions to the PA.
