Chareidi Toddler R”L Suddenly Niftar In Jerusalem

An 18-month-old chareidi child collapsed in his home on Tzefanya Street in Jerusalem during the night and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The toddler was Niftar upon arrival at the hospital.

EMS was summoned to the home at 1:30 AM for an unconscious child. The respondents began CPR and continued during transport to the hospital in critical condition.

It appears the death of the child was recorded as ‘crib death’.

  1. Oy, this is awful… but suspicious. Crib death, or sudden infant death syndrome, is generally limited to the first 12 months. It always astounds me when children are found dead in their crib at 1:30am. Who on earth is checking at that hour?
