SECURITY/DEFENSE:

*Nachal Oz fuel depot reopened to supply PA with fuel for electricity.

*8 arrested in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron on Tuesday night. No injuries.

*3 Arabs arrested for throwing rocks at Jewish visitors to Jerusalem’s Old City.

*Rocks hurled at motorists traveling on Azzoun Bypass Road in Shomron. No injuries.

*LA Times: CIA reports Israel destroyed Syrian nuclear reactor.

*Route 443: three occupants of a vehicle arrested at checkpoint near Maccabim following a police chase. Details are unclear but it appears they struck a police car and fled the scene. No injuries.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*PM’s Office Regarding Syrian reports of Golan Heights deal. No official response. Syria is aware of Israel’s position and visa versa.

*Israel delivering an additional million liters of fuel to PA in Gaza which will supply another three days of electricity.

*15 persons sustained light-to-moderate injuries on Wednesday morning in a vehicular accident between a truck and bus in Caesarea. The victims were transported to Hillel Yafeh Hospital in Hadera.

*Givatayim: A Dan Company bus on Derech Rabin Street on Wednesday morning. No injuries reported.

*MK Shteinitz, a former chairman of Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee: Olmert’s reported willingness to withdraw from Golan Heights is an “unprecedented political and security failure”.

*Former Meretz leader Yossi Sarid will not run in Tel Aviv mayoral race.

*Relatives of accused spy Kadish living in Israel refused to be interview by the Israeli press seeking comments on new spy case.
