On March 31, 2019, a report was received at the Israel Police 100 dispatch center regarding the break-in of a business in Bnei Brak and the theft of thousands of shekels from the site.

According to suspicions, passers-by who saw a suspect break into the business tried to detain him at the same time and at the same time reported to the police.

The suspect managed to escape and while fleeing, he dropped tens of thousands of shekels and a mobile phone. Israel Police investigators launched an investigation that led to the identification and arrest of the suspect.

The 25-year-old suspect, a resident of Bnei Brak, was caught carrying cannabis for personal consumption. The money he stole was returned to the owners. At the end of the interrogation the suspect was detained, and he was arraigned in the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
