The Belzer Rebbe Shlita instructed a noted member of his community, a prominent businessman, to delay a planned trip abroad until after Election Day, which is on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. The person in question travels to the United States for business often, and he was supposed to fly again immediately after Shabbos, but the rebbe told him to wait until after he votes, to cast his ballot for Yahadut Hatorah.
The rebbe has also made an appeal to his chassidim to do whatever they can towards ensuring the success of Yahadut Hatorah. The rebbe calls on anyone with a vehicle to make it available to assist those in need to reach a polling station on Election Day.
