Esther Pollard, quoted by ynet on Tuesday, announced she or her husband do not know Ben-Ami Kadish and there is no connection whatsoever between her husband and the unfolding accused spy case.
Mrs. Pollard stated her husband never worked with Kadish and the two are not acquainted.
Pollard continues serving a life sentence after America reneged on a plea bargain deal in which Pollard pleaded guilty to passing classified documents to Israel in the 1980s.
According to Israel Radio reports, Kadish, now in his 80s, stands accused of spying for Israel for a six-year period from 1979-1985, providing classified documents on nuclear weaponry, F15 fighter jets and other military data.
