Goldin Family: Current Talk Of The Return Of Bodies From Hamas Is Nothing More Than An Election Spin

The family of IDF Lt. Hadar Goldin HY”D attacked the prime minister amid an al-Quds TV report that talks are taking place towards a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas in exchange for easing the siege on Gaza: “Under the term of the present government, we have learned that when media reports are published, there is no agreement to return the bodies home and once again, the government missed an opportunity.

“Since our son Hadar was kidnapped into a tunnel by Hamas and held in Gaza, Israeli governments are missing out on many possibilities to change the equation – to pressure Hamas and reach the best prisoner exchange agreement signed with the enemy,” added Hadar’s parents.

Hamas terrorists grabbed the body of their son Hadar during Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014. Terrorists also took the body of Sgt. Oron Shaul HY”D.

The Goldin family added: “What we are seeing in recent days is another surrender by Netanyahu and the cabinet to Hamas – expanding the fishing area and other thing are proof that the publication this morning is an election spin that plays with the feelings of our families. Prime Minister Netanyahu must explain why he violated the promise he made to the families that there will be no series of negotiations with Hamas without the return of the sons.”

Hamas TV reports that a deal is in the works with Israel which includes Israel easing the marine blockade on Gaza and the release of imprisoned terrorists.

The Goldin parents have been extremely outspoken in their criticism against the cabinet ministers as they have heard many promises and they now feel they have been betrayed by PM Netanyahu and his ministers.

Speaking to Channel 10 on Tuesday, Mrs. Leah Goldin had particularly harsh words for Minister Naftali Bennet of the New Right party, accusing him of “campaigning on the blood of our sons”, asking “where has he been for the past four years?”
