Life In Prison For The Terrorist Who Murdered IDF Soldier Ron Kokia HY’D

The Be’er Sheva District Court on Monday sentenced 20-year-old Khaled Abu Judeh, a 22-year-old resident of Kuseife to the Negev, to life imprisonment after being convicted in the murder of IDF soldier Ron Kokia in Arad.

The soldier was murdered while he was in the street near the mall, about an hour before going home. The terrorist attacked the soldier and stabbed him a few times and grabbed his weapon and fled.

The judges decided to sentence him to life in prison plus 20 years in addition to having to compensate the family of the victim in the amount of NIS 250,000 while the judges had also ordered the forfeiture of the vehicle and the money that the terrorist had intended to benefit from.

At the end of the sentence, a riot broke out in the courtroom when the soldier’s family and Jewish activists, among them attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, shouted at the terrorist that he was a murderer and in any other country he would be sentenced to death.

IDF soldier Ron Yitzchak Kokia HY”D, was 19 when he was murdered in the bus station by the terrorist in December 2017. Kokia served in the Nachal Brigade, an infantry unit whose home base is located just outside Arad.
