53,000 passengers on 315 flights passed through Ben-Gurion International Airport on Wednesday before Pesach. This included 26,000 leaving and 27,000 arriving.
The number one flying travel destination for Israelis this Pesach was Turkey, followed by Italy, France, United States and England.
During the official Pesach travel season, April 16th to April 29th, 520,000 passengers are expected to pass through the airport, marking a 25% increase since last year’s season.
