A border policeman was injured when vehicle struck him at the Kalandia Crossing, which borders northern Jerusalem, Thursday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports from Magen David Adom, the injured policeman sustained non-serious injuries to a leg and his head. The driver fled the scene. The injured policeman was transported to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.
Police said they launched a manhunt for the attacker.
Some reports state this may have been a car thief attempting to flee police.
An investigation is underway.
