Avraham Meir Karim Z”L, father of IDF Chief Rabbi Brigadier-General Rav Eyal Karim was niftar during the night of 19 Adar II (Sunday night to Monday).

The notice published by the IDF Chief Rabbinate read: “We announce with profound sorrow the passing of R’ Avraham Meir Karim Z”L, father of IDF Chief Rabbi Brigadier-General Rav Eyal Karim Shlita.”

It was also added that the levaya would take place on 19 Adar II at 4:00 PM in the Holon Cemetery. The family is sitting shiva on Lamed Hey Street 20, in Givatayim
